Star Of The Week

Star Of The Week goes to........... The Grinch! I thought I'd make the grinch star of the week because it getting toward christmas and my recital is grinch themed. Go Grinch!

Spellers get out on PRESUME

On Friday I had the school spelling bee because I was classroom winner! At the bee I was final 6 out of 20 other students. I got out on presume I spelled it P-E-R-S-U-M-E. I got out but I was closer to winning than I was last year as classroom winner this year and last year. Last year I got out on on bedroom I wasn't thinking because I spelled it with two "m" then 1. But I'm  proud of myself for being in it two years in a row and I had a advantage for being a 5th grader rather than being a 4th grader last year. I got a plaque, 2 now actually that will both be hanging on my wall soon.(the plaques smell like chocolate)!

Dancing weekend

This weekend I have 4 recitals to do! My first one, which is today, is  at 1:00 pm then i have one at 6:00 pm! In the recital the theme is Christmas and it is The Grinch. My dances that I'm doing is hiphop to a rap version of the grinch theme song and my tap dance is to a faster version of jingle bells. I can't wait for my recital to start.

           Tap- a red top with a sequin black skirt

          Hiphop- A dance studio grinch t-shirt, black leggings with blue sparkly hightops and to top it off with fingerless winter gloves.

O say can you SING

This week I have been practicing for the Summit View honor choir auditions. I audtioned today and i made it out of the 10 people who audtioned. I'm so excited and I can't wait! I sang "Star Spangled Banner and did some vocal warmups with the music teacher. I can't beleive I made it.

dance Start-up

I have been waiting all summer for dance to start-up and it finally has. This year I'm taking lyrical, ballet, tap and hiphop. Ever since I was 2 I've been taking dance lessons. I've had up to 11 recitals and i love being on stage.
