Deadline

Our deadline is coming up for Logh-A-Brit's Blankets! The date is supposed to be December 19th! Hopfully we can deliver them on that day! Our goal is 50 but we have 30-40 made which should be okay since we worked a whole two years! I am so proud of us and so thankful for everyone who helped! We haven't decided on our next project yet, but when we decide I'll tell you right away! I'm hoping to deliver the blankets BEFORE Christmas so hopfully it works out! Thanks for all your support!

Making our goals

We just had a meeting for Logh-A-Brit's on October 27,2012.  We made some new things to make our expierence more memorable. On our last meeting we had extra felt so we decided to make a "Progress Felt Book." What is this? You may ask. Well it basically is peices of felt stapled together and has one page written in it. This helps us keep track of what we did that day it's kind of like a diary where we write what we did. Our goal by December 16, 2012 is to have 50 blankets made we will deliver them around that time for christmas. We tied the blankets to look like christmas presents. Took pictures to put in my scrapbook and make a new box and decorated it. That's the news on Logh-A-Brit's.

Lemonade.......SOLD!!!

We had a garage sale on Saturday and got a lot of money! But we also raised some money for Logh-A-Brit's. My friend and my sister helped out. We dressed as hawaiin girls and danced. We decorated the cannapee like a tiki bar with authentic hawaiin objects. We also sold A beach mat and streamers. We raised 39.00 total and split the profits. I got 17.00 for Logh-A-Brit's. I also got 3.00 in tips. The next day I sold Kool-Aid with my friend and we raised 4.00!

Our Sucess So Far

In my company Logh-A-Brit's Blankets we have made 13 blankets in the past 2-3 weeks. We have passed out 2 practice blankets to two tiny babies in our families. Our goal of blankets by May 21st is 55 blankets. We are so proud of our work.



 We made 13 blankets in 2 days at my friend's house. We have spent 6 hours doing this project. We spend recess chatting about our progess, money raised and upcoming meeting or events. We do stay in touch with each other often. I went out to a store to take pics of fabric choices that were cute! We didn't have a lot of money in our budget to buy blankets until......  a nice friend of my cousin had been told by me this company. She offered to give up to 20 yards of fabric we do still have sheets left. She also gave us 7 inch scissors and discount coupons. THANK YOU!!!!! A big shout out to her!

Getting Closer And Closer To Sucess!

Guess what? Logh-A-Brit's blankets donation has raised $26.01 so far. One lady that I meant is giving us fabrics so we don't have to pay for a lot. We are hoping to get 1,000 blankets made by May! I not sure that will happen but with your help it's possible! We will be doing lots of fundraising so please, if you have any ideas for fundraising comment under this post. We are planning to have 6 fundraisers for project 1! Thank you to these people who have donated: Our grandpaents, Parents, CCD Students, Teachers and Aunts and Uncles. Without you we wouldn't be ale to make children happy! We will be having our fisrt fundraiser(Kid'Z Day) sometime this month-March. When this happens it will probaly be 3 hours long! Which means more $ for the blankets!

Logh-A-Brit's Blankets

My friend and I Started a charity company called Logh-A-Brit's Blankets. This program provides blankets for children who need them. Our first project is too help the children at children's hospital. We are asking you to donate $10 to our program so we can make blankets. When we make the blankets we find diffrent fabrics for them. We make oringal designs that we made up, From classmates, teachers, familymembers and friends because children have different personalites from all over the world. This project deadline is May 21, 2012 we are hoping to have enough blankets for every child in the hospital. After this project we will have another that gives blankets to other children who need them. To kick-off the fundraising we are having a Kid'z day hopefully on March 5,2012 but if not we will give a exact date. Kid'z day is giving kids from ages 1-12 a way to have fun if you are over 12 you may vollunteer to help. We will have a concert, Games, Crafts and more. This is too get some kids ready for Summer letting them know summer almost here. The reason we are doing it in March is because the weather has been so nice. If you are willing to help with kid'z day comment I'll be a helper. If you want to help design a blanket comment the description of the design in words. If you are wanting to donate money comment i'm donating some money to you but we need to be able to get it.
